Houston We Have a Problem - Naked Woman Dancing on Houston Highway [Video & Story]

By far, this has to be one of the most bizarre stories covered in Texas since Erykah Badu’s decision to strip naked in Dallas.

However, unlike Badu’s incident, no reasoning has been found for this woman’s intentions to strip off her clothes and cause Monday morning traffic on highway US-290.

KHOU11 said, “firefighters and police officers used ladder trucks to try and coax the 25-year-old woman down, but she cursed at them and refused to budge. They finally jumped on the top of the big rig and wrestled her into handcuffs.”

According to BlackAmericaWeb, Deputy Thomas Gilliand said,”authorities believed the woman – whom they have not yet identified – was involved in two separate hit-and-run traffic incidents in the Jersey Village just before the highway shutdown.”

Multiple reports and eyewitnesses saw the woman get out of her car in traffic on US-290 and began stripping on the highway. She then climbed up an 18-wheeler truck and gave the cars behind her some highway entertainment, dancing and twerking.

BlackAmericaWeb said, Harris County Sherrif’s Deputy believe the woman drove away from those two incidents and onto US-290, where she parked her vehicle, stripped off her clothes, and walked into traffic, sparking the pile-up and hours-long traffic quagmire and drawing dozens of spectators.

Brian Shirley, a public information officer for the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department said, “our biggest challenge was treating the patient with respect and dignity and getting her down safely,” but Shirley continued saying, “It was really tough trying to keep things calm when people were driving by and yelling and not being very nice about things.”

It took over two hours to clear the incident. Once the authority was able to control her Shirley said, “she wasn’t making any sense. A lot of times she was real quiet, but then she had outbursts about the FBI and the CIA is after her.”

11Alive said, the woman is now being evaluated for mental health at a Houston area hospital.
